Emirati residents can now provide their biometric data using their smartphones, rather than making an Emirates ID biometric appointment with the Emirati government.
Residents of the UAE will soon be able to submit their Emirates ID biometrics through smartphones, which is necessary for the first time an Emirates ID is applied for. Gitex Global 2022 was the first time that the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security introduced the Emirates ID service.

Services offered by ICP’s smartphone application, “UAE ICP,” which is available for both Apple and Android smartphones, and the remote biometric registration program will be combined and presented at the event.
