2023 Will See The Return Of Dubai’s Iconic Laser Show On The Burj Khalifa
A jaw-dropping display for New Year’s Eve – featuring a stunning tribute to the UAE’s many facets and its brave battle against Covid-19 – has been announced for the return of Dubai’s iconic laser show, the world’s tallest tower, and iconic landmark, the Burj Khalifa.
A video showing breathtaking lasers dancing across the face of the building was released along with its announcement, stating: “Laser lights and the world’s tallest tower, what a great start to the New Year!”
From Wednesday through Sunday, shows will begin at 7:45 p.m., 8:45 p.m., and 9:45 p.m. In this year’s calendar, the show will be available until March 31.
There was a grand celebration of 2023 in the UAE. Dubai’s New Year’s Eve celebration in 2022 was expected to be spectacular, with three world records, firework displays in dozens of locations, and star-studded concerts. It was the first time since the Covid pandemic that revelers were free of restrictions associated with 2023.
An advanced laser performance was also staged at the 828-meter Burj Khalifa by Emaar in which light beams traveled the longest distance ever recorded.

A colorful kaleidoscope of images is displayed on the Burj Khalifa which is the world’s largest LED screen. As the show’s lighting choreography blends with the bright colors displayed on the Burj Khalifa, the show is as interesting as it is incredible. In addition to its 828m height, the Burj Khalifa has an LED screen running the length of its east side.
Although you have seen it a number of times, the Dubai Fountain Show never ceases to astonish. The fountains come to life every half hour beginning at 6 pm, every day of the week. The illuminated fountains are set to Thriller by Michael Jackson, Andrea Bocelli’s Time To Say Goodbye by Sarah Brightman, and many other popular tracks.
