Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026

This policy explains how Houzon Real Estate Brokers L.L.C ("Houzon", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use houzon.com, contact us or use our services. We handle personal information in line with UAE data protection law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email us at info@houzon.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Enquiries and viewing requests: your name, phone number, email address, the property you are interested in and your message.
  • Valuation and listing requests: your name and contact details, the property's location and type, the unit or villa number, whether you want to sell or rent it out, and your timing.
  • Transactions: when we act for you in a sale, purchase, lease or property management, we collect the information needed for the transaction and to meet our legal duties. This can include your passport or Emirates ID, visa, title deed or Oqood, tenancy documents and payment details.
  • Holiday home stays: the booking details and passport or Emirates ID of every guest, which we must register with Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism (DET).
  • Accounts: if you create an account, your name, email address and login details. If you sign in with Facebook or Google, we receive the basic profile information you allow them to share.
  • Calls and messages: records of phone calls, WhatsApp messages and emails with our team.

Information collected automatically

  • When you visit the website, we and our service providers collect technical information. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the searches you make and how you arrived at the website.
  • We use cookies and similar technologies for this. You can find out more in the "Cookies and analytics" section below.

How we use your information

  • To answer your enquiry, arrange viewings and put you in touch with the right agent.
  • To prepare a valuation, market your property and manage a sale, lease or holiday home stay.
  • To carry out the checks that the law requires. These include identity checks under UAE anti-money laundering law and the registrations required by the Dubai Land Department (DLD), RERA and DET.
  • To send you properties, market updates and offers that may interest you, where the law allows. You can opt out at any time.
  • To run, protect and improve the website, including preventing spam and fraud and understanding which pages are useful.
  • To keep records and deal with any questions, complaints or legal claims.

We use your information because you have asked us to do something for you, to carry out a contract with you, to meet our legal obligations, with your consent, or where we have a legitimate business need that does not override your rights.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it where needed:

  • The other parties to your enquiry or transaction: owners, landlords, buyers, tenants and developers, and other agents where an agreement between agents applies.
  • Authorities and regulators: such as the DLD, RERA, DET and other government bodies, where the law requires.
  • Professional partners you ask us to involve: such as mortgage advisers, banks, conveyancers or movers.
  • Service providers who work for us: including website hosting, email, our customer relationship system, spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) and analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity). They may only use your information to provide their services to us.
  • Others, where the law requires it or to protect our rights: for example to prevent fraud.

Cookies and analytics

  • Cookies are small files stored on your device. Some are needed for the website to work, such as remembering your search or keeping you signed in. Others help us understand how the website is used.
  • We use Google Analytics to measure visits. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors move around and click on pages so we can improve the design. Form entries are not meant to be recorded.
  • When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies in your browser, which brings the banner back, or by adjusting your browser settings.

International transfers

Some of our service providers store or process information outside the UAE. Where this happens, we take steps so that your information stays protected, as UAE data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

  • We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above.
  • Where the law sets a minimum period, we keep it for that long. For example, records of identity checks under anti-money laundering law must be kept for at least five years after a transaction or business relationship ends.
  • When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Keeping it secure

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. These include secure (HTTPS) connections, access controls and spam protection on our forms. No website or system can be completely secure, so please contact us straight away if you think your information has been misused.

Your rights

Under UAE data protection law, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your information, or limit how we use it, where there is no legal reason for us to keep using it;
  • stop using your information for marketing, or for any purpose that relies on your consent (withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before);
  • send your information to you or to another organisation in a commonly used format, where this applies.

To make a request, email info@houzon.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. We aim to reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.

Children

Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, except guest details for a holiday home booking made by an adult.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make important changes, we will make them clear on the website.
